Artificial Neural Network Synthetic Evaluation on Scenarios of Water Resources Allocation
Based on the analysis of different synthetic evaluation methods, the advantages and conveniences of artificial neural network (ANN) model were summarized which can avoid the difficulty of deciding weights for each evaluation index. To further test the model on evaluating scenarios of water resources allocation in Zhengzhou, evaluation index system was constructed according to certain principles; indices of different scenarios were quantified, from which training samples were derived; finally the ANN synthetic evaluation was applied. The evaluation results show that scenario 3 is preferred when water resources are abundant (p=50%), while scenario 4 is recommended at most of other time when water resources are scant (p=75%, 95%). This evaluation result is reasonable and fits well with the reality, and the model is worth of promoting.
