EXPERIMENT AND NUMERICAL SIMULATION ON AIR COOLED SUPPORT STRUCTURE PROPERTIES IN LARGE THERMAL POWER PLANT
Air cooled condenser support structure in large thermal power plant is a new special industrial structure. It is a steel-concrete vertical hybrid structure. One eighth scale experiment model of the structure is built. Its vibration frequency and mode is tested, the dynamic displacement and strain of its typical members is tested under different fan frequencies, and the structural vibration under the fan excitation is analyzed. The structural calculation model is established with ANSYS in order to compare with the experiment results, its mode and resonance response under the fan excitation is analyzed. According to the results, the structural vibration mode couple can appear, the former three step frequencies should be avoided in its production. Its fatigue should be considered because of the dynamic displacement, high strength steel and bolts should be used in the structure.
