EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH AND THEORETICAL ANALYSIS ON AXIAL COMPRESSIVE RATIO OF STEEL REINFORCED CONCRETE SPECIAL-SHAPED COLUMNS

From the experimental research on 17 specimens of steel reinforced concrete (SRC)special-shaped columns under low cyclic reversed loading, the axial compressive ratio of steel reinforced concrete special-shaped columns is calculated by the balanced failure method and the superposition method. The comparison shows that the calculation results using superposition method is more accurate than the experimental results. Based on the experiment and theoretical analysis, the axial compressive ratio of steel reinforced concrete special-shaped columns is determined. In the end,the axial compressive ratio is compared between steel reinforced concrete special-shaped columns and reinforced concrete special-shaped columns, the comparison results show that ultimate axial compressive force of SRC special-shaped columns is obviously larger than that of RC special-shaped columns.
