Imaging of CSEM data - a feasibility study

摘要：

A heuristic approach to imaging of controlled source EM (CSEM) data is given and a simple algorithm is introduced which can handle the case of a homogeneous or gently varying overburden. In case of shallow water the method assumes that the airwave contribution can be efficiently removed from the measurements before the imaging is carried out. Controlled or synthetic data are used to benchmark the method and illustrate its potential.
