The Vehicle Contribution Analysis on the Dynamic Vehicle Allocation Problem
The dynamic vehicle allocation problem arises when a common carrier must manage a fleet of vehicles to maximize profits over a planning horizon. On the dynamic vehicle allocation problem, the change of vehicle supply have affect on the vehicle allocation scheme. The paper uses time-space network graph to denote the vehicle use. As a time-space network, the dynamic vehicle allocation scheme can be viewed as controlling a network of queues. And the five situation of vehicle supply is analyzed by time-space network graph. Then it is analyzed that the change of vehicle supply has affect on the contribution of vehicle allocation scheme.
