Management Change Methods with Process Dominance and their Integration

In todays business environment, many methods are proposed to deal with management problem. But most of them have been traditionally viewed as separate and distinct, and deployed independent of one another. Thus their potential synergy power is not played into use fully. On the basis of reviewing several management change methods, such as Statistical Process Control, Total Quality Management, 6σ, Business Process Reengineering, their limitations and common characteristics of process dominance are examined. The feasibility of integration among them is explored from organizational latitudinal and longitudinal structure perspective, and an integration framework is proposed. Finally, the concept of business process management is put forward according to the framework.
