Assembly-Line Balancing Based on Heuristic Searches

摘要：

A challenge many facilities planners face today is finding a way to quickly and effectively evaluate required layout changes and material handling systems, so that the material handling costs and distances are minimized. Based on the coffee machine assembly line of the companies in Zhejiang province, with the analysis of the principle and improvement of production line balance, the paper analyzed the production system with the heuristic searches, combined with the situation on the assembly line. Two available ways have been proposed and compared, in order to improve the production ability and efficiency of the assembly line.
