Countermeasures for Modern Logistics of Railway Freight

摘要：

This study firstly analyzes the current situation of Chinese national railway freight transportation from the aspect of profit and system. Then it points out the intrinsic demand of a transformation into modern logistics. Finally, the means for achieving a smooth transformation are suggested. They inlcude 1) improved construction of the railway infrastructure, 2) introduction of a third party logistics corporation, and 3) improved human resource management.
