A Study about Innovation of Products Kansei Quality Based on National Cultures Characteristics
Kansei quality is integrated with national cultural characteristics. The purpose of this study is to excavate the cultural characteristics of Kansei quality, and to present the interrelationship between culture and Kansei quality. This study adopts several scientific researching methods including observation, analysis, verification, induction as well as explanation. It initially probes into the factors of Kansei features that is concealed in peoples aspirations. And following that, it sets up and evaluates the Kansei quality model based on the national culture, combining individual characteristics and common characteristics in Kansei quality management. It also takes an exploration into the feasibility and effectiveness of transforming Kansei characteristics into mass production. Above all, it has made an great attempt at revealing the essence of Kansei quality. This study has demonstrated that Kansei quality contains national cultural characteristics. Freedom and rationality as two conflicting sides, both exists in human Kansei. Cultural characteristics has a substantial effect upon consumer and designers Kansei. It leads to the contradiction between the Kansei value of consuming demand and quality design. In other words, Kansei quality must be able to meet the demands for consuming freedom as well as designing rationality. The Kansei designing concept derived from the complicated aspirations of peoples daily life, is implied in the quality characteristics. Consumers aspiration is the information source of Kansei features. However, Human beings Kansei is so various and diversified that they manifest themselves in many complex forms. The task of this study is therefore to probe a scientific Methodology so as to identify, observe and measure Kansei. It is carried out by the quantitative and qualitative description from psychology, as well as the mathematical description, in order to depict Kansei features from a rather comprehensive perspective. This study also proposes to point out that Kansei quality is subject to the mobility of time. Therefore, it is imperative that the selective Kansei characteristics should be applied dynamically to the process of design, manufacturing and marketing, so that we can overcome the blindness of quality control from the root. In other words, managing Kansei quality control with scientific approaches. Imagination and designing represents great human intelligence. While Kansei quality is full of philosophy of art.
