Workspace Decision-Making in the Era of Transformation

摘要：

The objective of this paper is to present two frameworks to study workspace decision-making in a virtual enterprise.The first framework is represented to discuss the trade-offs between the traditional and virtual workspaces in the distributed network of a virtual organization.This framework can be used for the evolving workspace allocation in a distributed virtual enterprise.The second framework is the organizational triangle,which consists of the enterprise,the humans,and the activities; each interacting with its own specific environment: the business environment,the work processes environment,and the physical environment,respectively.Workspace decisionmaking is discussed within the framework of the organization
