Evolution of the Dispute-Resolution Mechanism of FIDIC Contract

摘要：

FIDIC contract is praised as the Bible of civil engineering. It serves as the international practice and general standard for civil engineering projects. The dispute-resolution mechanism of FIDIC contract has experienced a development process from engineer deciding to DAB adjudicating. This paper, after analyzing the dispute-resolution mechanism of FIDIC contract, reveals the deficiencies of engineer deciding and DAB adjudicating. Furthermore, on the basis of a comparison between DAB and DRB dispute resolution mechanisms, it points out the development trend of the dispute-resolution mechanism of FIDIC contract.
