Study and application on magnetic segregation feeder of sintering machine
The size segregation of raw mixture particles in a chute flow is utilized to prepare a well-bedded feedstock for sintering machine,that can improve productivity and decrease consume of fuel material of sintering process.The permanent magnets are installed below the chute to enhance the segregation.Simulations were carried out to explore the ideal arrangement and optimal parameters of the magnets.Laboratorial and industrial experiments with consultation of the simulation conclusions were taken a lot.The magnetic segregation feeding equipments were developed finally and applications extended to 3 sintering lines of Baoshan Iron & Steel Co.,Ltd,they are working perfectly,all of them bringing well results.
