The application of continuous annealing technology in Baosteel
The development of automotive industry calls for excellent process figuration of cold rolled sheet,on the other hand,there is a heavy demand for high strength steel sheet to meet the request vehicle weight reduction.Continuous annealing line has many advantages,such as high efficiency,abundant variety,good quality,low cost,and so on.So it is now more commonly used in automotive sheet production.In this article,the annealing technology development is reviewed,the high speed running technology under higher temperature and fast cooling (roll cooling,high gas jet cooling,water-mist cooling,water quench,ete)is discussed,and the producing of cold rolled sheet in BNA is also introduced.
