Particle swarm for optimization
Particle swarm is one of the five main evolutionary algorithms which have been extensively studied and applied to solve optimization problems.In this paper,particle swarm optimization (PSO)algorithm will be first reviewed,then the focus will be on the detailed explanation/discussion of how the PSO has been applied to solve optimization problems including minimizaton/maximizafion problems,optimization problems with constraints,multiobjective optimization problems,etc.
