Effects of flame cutting on the properties of 12Cr2Mo1R heavy plate
The features of microstructure and hardness near the cut layer of the 12Cr2MolR heavy plate with thickness 95 mm was investigated after flame cut.The results show that a obvious martensite microstructure band with different grain size and hardening zone near the cut surface,and a distinct zone near the upper surface of plate.A comparison with the features of microstructure and hardness near the cutting surface of finished product has been carried out.The effects of hardening zone and martensite microstructure on the cold bend shape and welding are analyzed.Those results can provided basis for stipulating the cutting technology and machine surplus of the welding groove for this heavy plate,and have some directive meaning of the curl forming and welding of the this kind of heavy plate.
