A new technology for restrain nonquadratic waves
One problem facing most cold rolling operators is nonquadratic waves on cold-rolled products,particularly for very thin strip.A new roll shape and relative control strategy are designed for restrain nonquadratic waves.Then some experimental data which will illustrate the effect of both roll shape and control system are shown.Through the experiment,it is demonstrated that the new roll shape and the flatness control algorithm can be combined to reduce the nonquadratic waves,in other word,to increase strip shape quality.
