New generation TMCP based on ultra fast cooling
In order to solve the problems of low temperature rolling and addition of micro alloying elements in traditional TMCP technology,a new TMCP concept based on ultra fast cooling (UFC)has been proposed.This technology is expected to be capable of making full use of strain accumulation during tandem rolling to obtain refined microstructure.In the present paper,the microstructure evolution during new TMCP was described,which indicated that this technology could save energy and resources to produce recyclable products to play important roles in sustainable developments.
