A Type of Adaptive Control for Time-Delay Systems with Delay Parameter in System Matrixes
Based on a method of LMI, a kind of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is made use of, and the controller design is discussed for the linear timedelay control systems, in which the system matrix contains both certain linear part and the unknown delaydependent linear part, via a new type of memory state feedback control. At the same time, a new type of adaptive control strategy for the unknown delay parameter is proposed in this paper, which realizes that the unknown delay parameter can always be reflected both in the memory state-feedback controller and in the coeffi-cient of control matrixes. The effectiveness of the pro-posed design method is demonstrated by a numerical example.
