Improvement of Rotor Position Angle Estimation in SRD Based on Fuzzy Logic
It is essential to measure the rotor position for switched reluctance drive system. This paper introduces a method of detecting the rotor position based on fuzzy logic. With phase current and flux linkage as inputs, rotor position is detected using fuzzy algorithm. In order to improve the measurement accuracy of the rotor position, predictive filter and angle position selector are used. Predictive filter can examine and eliminate the noise of the feedback signal, and the position selector can modify the rotor-position. The result of simulation indicates that the position obtained by this method is accurate for the operation of switched reluctance motor(SRM).
