Fuzzy Adaptive Fault -Tolerant Control for SISO Unknown Nonlinear Systems

This paper presents adaptive fuzzy fault diagnosis and fault tolerant control algorithms for a class of SISO unknown nonlinear systems. At first, the design of fuzzy adaptive fault diagnosis is performed by using fuzzy logic systems and nonlinear observer techniques. Using the estimated fault vector, an adaptive fuzzy tolerant fault controller is established, which guarantees the stability of the closed-loop systems. The proposed algorithms are applied to an inverted pendulum system and the simulation results show the effectiveness.
