Design of Fuzzy Controller for SIR Infectious Diseases

This paper considers the problem of controlling infectious diseases described by susceptibleinfective-removed(SIR) model, a fuzzy controller is constructed to make controlling measure. The controlling model overcomes the shortages, in which the controlling measure is “hardened to quantify , by using fuzzy logic to“softeninfectious diseases spread circumstances and the government decision. The results of experiment show that the approach can be very successful in con-trolling the spread of infectious diseases by using SARS as an example.
