A Design of Phase-locked Servo System Based on Adaptive PWM Controller
A novel digital pump PWM controller is presented for phase-locked servo systems. It can be used to control large power motors by PWM mode without analog parts. This paper gives an introduction about the development of phase-locked servo system. Based on the analysis of convention servo system, a new method of converting phase-error signal to PWM pulse is introduced into the servo system. The feasibility of the new system is analyzed in theory. The paper also outlines system model and the design method of a controller that is currently under development in detail and describes some of the considerations involved in the development of an adaptive PWM Controller. Simulation result shows that the digital pump PWM controller has small steady error and fast dynamic response.
