Pole Placement for Time-Varying MIMO Singular Systems
An efficient pole placement technique is developed for MIMO time-varying singular systems. The systems are converted to standard singular systems first. Then the pole placement formulas are developed for time-invariant MIMO singular systems. The technique is based entirely on the desired closed-loop poles and doesnt require the computation of characteristic polynomial or the eigenvalues of the original system, nor the characteristic polynomial of the transformed system. Two numerical examples are presented to demonstrate our algorithms.
