Modeling and Simulation for Hydraulic Looper
Based on the force analysis for looper, the transfer function of hydraulic cylinder is presented. By analyzing the dynamic coupling process of looper system in hot rolling, the dynamic mathematic model of looper is built around the working point. The general transfer function of the hydraulic looper system is achieved by combining the transfer function of hydraulic cylinder with the coupling model of looper. This model is reduced on the basis of research on its parameters. The model and its reduced model were carried out with the practical data of hydraulic looper in hot-rolling mills. Simulation results show that the deduced model agrees well with the real object and can be utilized in practice.
