Improved Delay-Dependent H∞ Control for Descriptor Systems with Time-Delay
The delay-dependent H1 control problem for descriptor systems with time-delay is studied. A new delay-dependent generalized bounded real lemma (GBRL) for descriptor systems with time-delay is given in terms of a strict linear matrix inequality (LMI), and in which, the upper bounding on the weighted cross products is not required for obtained delay-dependent results. Based on the obtained GBRL, an improved delay-dependent condition for the existence of H∞ memory-less state feedback controller is presented in terms of matrix inequality such that the resulting closed-loop system is regular, impulse-free and asymptotically stable. This condition fits the general descriptor system with time-delay whether it is impulse-free or not. Finally, numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the reduced conservatism and effectiveness of the proposed results.
