Parameter Dependent Delay Fractioning Based Lyapunov Functional for Stability of Time-Delay Systems with Polytopic-Type Uncertainties
This paper investigates the robust stability of linear systems with time delay and polytopictype uncertainties. We first introduce a new delayfractioning based LyapunovKrasovskii functional for the time delay system without uncertainties. In this method, some effective relax variables are used to express the relationships among the system variables. As a result, the Lyapunov matrices are not involved in any product terms of the system matrices in the derivative of the Lyapunov functional. Then a parameter dependent Lyapunov functional is constructed with the delayfractioning technique for the uncertain system. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of our main results.
