Decision-Making of Planning Quantity of Put-Into-Production in Make to Order System
We study the issue of decision-making of planning put-into-production quantity (PPQ) in maketoorder (MTO) system and analyze the effect of output excess and output insuffiency on production cost. Due to different requirements for technique, procedure and material in clients orders and the uncertainty of production process, the rates of qualified products fluctuate stochastically. Taking the expectation of losses as the criterion of decision-Making and supposing the qualified-products-rates submitted to normal distribution, we develop a decision-making model of PPQ. The result of numeric simulation and sensitivity analysis prove that the model is effective. Finally, the model is applied to solve an enterprise real problem, and has got the optimal PPQ solution.
