Research on Optimization of Structural Dynamic Characteristics under Impact Loading
Elastic tripod mount is adopted extensively in order to relieve weight, but at the same time, the vibration of machine gun evidently increases at gunning along with it. So it is necessary to study the optimization of structural dynamic characteristics of a machine gun. According to the principle of modal superposition, a method of structural dynamic modification is developed with the method of sensitivity analysis based on modal test results. Using modal test and sensitivity analysis, the dynamic characteristics and sensitive points of a machine gun are obtained, and the displacement response curve is calculated by the finite element dynamic modal. The results of calculation show that this method is correct and it can be used to improve the dynamic property of machine guns.
