A TCP Congestion Control Model Based on Hybrid Automaton
This paper makes use of hybrid automata to model TCP congestion control, and compares the behaviours of TCP flows under different congestion control algorithms. The network algorithm used in hybrid automaton is TCP-Reno under a RED queuing discipline. Improved congestion control algorithms and comparison of various congestion control algorithms are ongoing work for network. There are a lot of phenomena with hybrid characteristic in network. Further researches are how to use hybrid system tools to describe, analyze and solve some complex questions. The hybrid automaton is not only suitable for modeling and simulation, but also provides a framework using hybrid system that is suitable for the network research.
