BP Neural Network Based Due Date Decision-Making of Make-to-Order System

Due to the multi variety, small batch and make-to-order manufacture systems obvious characteristics which are stochastic and indefinite, the forecast of order time limit for a project and due-date decision have become an enigma for enterprises for a long time. This article makes use of its self-study, high fault-tolerant characteristics of BP neural networks and its non-linear, the separate event dynamic system simulation ability to establish a project for forecast model of order time limit based on the BP neural networks, so that to promote the abilities of order due-date decision from enterprises to customs. Chosen some manufacture enterprises actual production data training neural network models, the order time limit of this model gradually approaches to its actual time limit and finally achieves the satisfaction of the forecast model. The simulation result indicates that, BP neural networks model may better reliably forecast the order time limit for a project under stochastic and indefinite condition, thus the level of due-date decision for enterprises can be effectively and largely promoted.
