Robust H∞ Guaranteed Cost Control for Uncertain Discrete-Time Fuzzy Systems with both State and Input Delays

This paper investigates the problem of robust H1 guaranteed cost (GC) controller design for a class of uncertain discrete-time Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems with bounded time delays in both state and control input. Based on Lyapunov stability theory and under the framework of linear matrix inequality (LMI), a sufficient condition for the existence of robust H1 GC controller is derived. Furthermore, the LMI optimization approach is applied to find the minimization of the upper bound on the GC function. At last, a numerical example is given to illustrate the feasibility and validity of this method.
