An Automatic Classification Method of Virus Based on Biomimetic Pattern Recognition

For a long time, the classification of species mainly depended on morphologic methods. It is difficult to realize automatic species classification by computer. This article exploringly puts forward an automatic classification method of virus based on biomimetic pattern recognition and uses this method to do the automatic classification for Hepadnaviridae viruses and Caulimoviridae viruses. The correct classification rate reaches 100％ and 94％ respectively.
