Nonlinear Discrimination Analysis Using in Edge Detection

摘要：

A new edge detection algorithm based on nonlinear Discrimination Analysis is proposed. Using this statistical learning method, no more edge threshold must be given before experiments and the processing is performed in an adaptive way. Experiments results show that the proposed algorithm has great performance in edge detection, comparing to the traditional ones.
