Performance and Robustness Analysis of Fuzzy-Immune Flow Controller in ATM Networks with Multiple Time-Delays
For the Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) networks with multiple time-delays, a fuzzyimmune controller is designed, which can adjust the rates of available bit rate (ABR) on-line and satisfy the weighted fairness. The algorithm proposed only need the upper bound of the round-trip delay, so it can be implemented in practice easily. A common Lyapunov function is found to prove the stability of the closedloop systems based on the fuzzy rules. The algorithm exhibits good performance and most importantly, has a solid theoretical foundation. Simulation results show that the control system is rapid, adaptive, robust and the quality of service (QoS) is guaranteed meanwhile.
