The Sliding Mode Control for Linear Uncertain Systems with Time-Varying Uncertainties

This paper presents a design approach of robust stabilization based on sliding mode control for a kind of linear uncertain system with time-varying uncertainties. Firstly system uncertainty is divided into two parts: matched uncertainty part and a mismatched uncertainty part. Furthermore for uncertain systems with mismatched uncertainty the robust sliding surface design method with LMI-based control technique is presented and the designing approaches of sliding mode control law for systems with matched uncertainties and mismatched uncertainties are proposed respectively. The design approach proposed can guarantee that the sliding mode control system has the robustness not only to the matched uncertainties but also to the mismatched uncertainties. The correlative theory proof and the numerical simulation are given also.
