A Switched System Approach to Stabilization of Model-Based Networked Control Systems
The stability of the model-based networked control systems is studied by a switched system approach. The system consists of a sensor, controllers and an actuator via a network, so it is significant to reduce the usage of the network while keeping the system stable. We can get the maximum allowed transfer time by designing multi-controllers and the switching law among these controllers. What is done not only overcomes the network bandwidth constraints but also guarantees the stability of underlying systems. The switch strategy among controllers is in terms of cyclic switching and the index of cyclic switching reflects the complex degree of system design. A numerical example is given to illustrate the method developed in this paper. Finally, H-infinite performance is addressed based on LMIs.
