Study on the IEC 61850 Communication Protocol Applied to Substation Automation System

摘要：

IEC61850 is an international communication standard about Substation Automation System ,it represents future development trend of substation automation .this paper induces the connotative intensions implied in IEC61850 and the development and main idea of the standard . This paper analyzes the main technical features of network leveling, unified objectoriented modeling, data object self-description abstraction of communication service mapping etc in detail. The methods how to realize the standard are proposed. After that the modeling approach and the data models of IED are discussed.
