The Model of Forest Fire Prevention Based on GIS
The forest-fire is caused by extremely complex natural factors and human factors. This paper studies in four stages of the forest-fire emergency management, expatiates GISs functions in these four stages separately and how to establish the corresponding disaster management model in each stage. Finally, this paper emphatically introduced the decision support model of forest fire fighting. The model, which has been already applied in Taishan and Laoshan forest fire protection system, has obtained a good effect, also has a promoted value in a similar disaster emergency management.
