Design of Robust H∞ Controller for Stochastic Hyperbolic Tangent Model with Time-Varying Delay

This paper is concerned with the problems of robust stabilization and robust H1 control for the stochastic hyperbolic tangent model with timevarying delay. Based on liner matrix inequality and Lyapunov-Krasovskii approaches, a delay-independent stability criterion is provided and a class of novel robust nonlinear state feedback control law based on the criterion is constructed. The corresponding controller can render the closed-loop system asymptotically stable in mean square. For the robust H1 control problem, it is shown that the H∞ controller obtained can guarantee the closed-loop system mean square asymptotically stable and a prescribed H∞ performance requirement can be achieved. And the nonlinear H∞ control has robust performance in response to external disturbance and parameter uncertainties.
