Research and Design of an Embedded Mobile Video Communication Terminal
The paper provide research and design of an embedded mobile multimedia terminal based on PXA255 processor. Embedded Linux operating system and Qt-embedded graphics user interface are introduced. Furthermore, all parts of the system, including the hardware platform designing, driver program migrating, system software migrating, graphics user interface migrating and the application program designing are also depicted in detail. With the C++ Program Language, the process of video encode and decode is encapsulated into a dynamic link library. With the encapsulated dynamic link library, the continuous dynamic capturing, compressing and transmitting of video can be easily implemented in the system.
