Oil Pipeline Leakage Detection Based on Wavelet Transform

摘要：

The relation between wavelet transform and singularity of signal is analyzed. The method using wavelet transform to detect singular point of signal is also discussed. For the signal with different characteristic, its modulus maxima changes with scale changing. The arrival time of the negative pressure wave along the two sides of pipeline could be calculated by using multi-scale wavelet transform. Then, the abrupt change of signal can also be detected effectively and the leakage position can be located.
