The Gene Code Algebraic Structure of Protein Sequences Based On Codons

The protein sequence is the important object which in the life sciences studies, and the protein function is decided by its structure. In this paper, we offer a new algebraic point of view for protein molecules and introduce the algebraic system by using the natural operation based on the set of 64 codons ∑=ggg,ggt,gga,ggc,....As a result, hydrophobic and hydrophilic amino acids are found in different columns and the codons are proved which cannot be randomly arranged in different columns. So the operation fully reflect their physicochemical properties. What is more, the operation result shows that codon tga have different property from other stop codons, in fact, in the mitochondrial from human and ox genomic codons, tga encode just tryptophane, not stop codon in other genetic code. Further, we characterize its structure by using the algebraic theory and show that(L,+×)is the distribution lattice of rings with identical elements, where L=s∣s∈∑*,∣s∣≤ is the set of protein sequences.
