Initial Condition Issues Based on 2-D system Theory for Linear Systems with Time Delay

In this paper, the initial condition issues are considered for a class of linear system with timedelay in state. A kind of iterative learning controller with initial rectifying action is designed based on twodimensional (2-D) system theory, and the convergence conditions for this kind of iterative learning control (ILC) rule are presented. It is shown that the controller can completely tracking the desired trajectory after a transitory time interval. The simulation shows the effectiveness of this controller.
