Local Asymptotic Stability of an SIR Epidemic Model with Time Delay

In this paper, we consider the local stability of an SIR epidemic model with time delay. For the model with functional response function, we consider the asymptotic local stability of its solution. With some classical analysis techniques for functional differential equation, we show that the model has very similar locally properties as the model (1).
