Information, Complexity and Warfare Systems
In order to understand and solve warfare problems, relations of information, complexity and war system are studied. Firstly, the influence of information on structure, function and evolution of war system are set forth. Then, relation between information and complexity is analyzed, which includes that, information flows determines the path number of system units’ interaction, information flows is the key factor of a ecting war system’s structure and function, and war system’s complexity put people manage more and more information. At last, several approaches of studying war system are probed. Main conclusion was obtained as follows: it’s an e ective method of understanding warfare that, applying complex adaptive systems theory and simulation technology based on multiagent synthetically, to study the influence of information and complexity on war system.
