A SV D-Based Hybrid Spatial-Frequency Digital Image Watermarking Scheme
Robustness against geometric attacks is one of the most important issues in watermarking. In this paper, a new singular value decomposition-discrete wavelet transform (SV D -DWT) composite image watermarking algorithm that is robust against geometric attacks and ordinary image processing is presented. The cover image is decomposed into different frequency images by DWT and IDWT. The watermarking can be embedded in the different frequency images by singular value decomposition (SV D). In order to reduce the calculation complexity of DWT, a new fast Mallat decomposition algorithm is presented simultaneously. Experimental evaluation demonstrates that the watermarking embedded in high-high frequency image is the most robust which can withstand a variety of attacks including common geometric attacks.
