THE IMPACT OF ABSORPTIVE CAPABILITY, COOPERATIVE COMPETENCY AND KNOWLEDGE INTEGRATION ON NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT PERFORMANCE

摘要：

The relationships between absorptive capability, cooperative competency, knowledge integration, and new product development performance are probed. Data from 117 high-tech firms in south China proves that: (1) Absorptive capability has a distinct direct positive interrelationship with cooperative competency; (2) Absorptive capability and cooperative competency have a distinct direct positive impact on knowledge integration; (3) Knowledge integration has a distinct direct positive impact on new product development performance; (4) Absorptive capability and cooperative competency do not have a distinct direct positive impact on new product development performance.
