Fore-warning Method of Vehicle Fires Based on Interval Analytic Hierarchy Process

To establish the fore-warning index system accurately, a fore-warning method of vehicle fires based on interval analytic hierarchy process (IAHP) is presented. By analyzing the random and fuzzy indexes in the fore-warning index system, and constructing the verdict matrix with interval numerical value instead of point value, the method solves the problem of fuzzy indexes quantification and obtains total indexes weights precisely. Then the fore-warning value is calculated through the linear adding weight approach, by which the fore-warning grade of vehicle fires is judged. Case study has shown that the method is reasonable, reliable, and makes for the fore-warning result scientifically, which could be feasible references for vehicles emergency management.
