A Method of Linguistic Truth-valued Reasoning in Risk Assessment
In the risk assessment, some judgments for the risk factor may not be exactly true (false) or exactly a real number. The truth values of them are often with linguistic hedges. Linguistic hedges of the truth value affect the truth degree of the judgment. In this paper we consider the common linguistic hedges and 18 kinds of linguistic truth values. Based on lattice implication algebra we establish the linguistic truth valued logic which can express both comparable and incomparable truth values. Some properties of disjunction, conjunction, negative and implication operators of linguistic truth-valued propositional logic are found. Then the reasoning method is discussed.
