Risk Evaluation of Earthquake-induced Site Liquefaction Based on 3D GIS
Through Kriging interpolation method, the identification of liquefaction location at engineering site can be estimated based on the evaluated liquefaction potential at the observational boreholes. Sustained by GIS 3D module, the geologic body of site is simulated and the visibility of 3D site liquefaction potential is realized too. The research shows that: a. Kriging interpolation is an effect method to evaluate the liquefaction potential of the unidentified points by using the evaluated results of the observational boreholes. Therefore, it is a preferable way to evaluate the possible liquefaction range for engineering site. b. GIS 3D module is effective to realize the establishment of visibility model for site liquefaction. Thus, the research in 3D visibility for site liquefaction based on GIS is worth of the further discussion.
